The Neighbourhood Hotties are a Canadian, queer, acoustic, folk-rock duo who flirt with glam and makeup whilst performing stories about identity and mental resilience all with a alt-90s lens. The Hotties bring high-impact performances that feel both celebratory and deeply personal. Cheeky guitarist, Patrick Sheese, and powerhouse vocalist, Elle Shea, met at an open mic in 2023 and began songwriting and performing as The Neighbourhood Hotties in July 2024.
Elle Shea’s unique vocals have been compared to the commanding presence of Grace Slick and the raw vulnerability of Sinéad O’Connor reimagined through a modern, alt-rock lens. Her voice anchors songs that move effortlessly from intimate confession to full-throttle anthems, with Patrick Sheese's intricate and supportive guitar playing further pulling audiences into a shared emotional experience.
After spending the first years honing their songwriting and playing at open mics, they’ve been exploring social media as art and fun over just content and algorithm bait. This has been important while promoting the individual single drops leading up to their first full length album “Unplugged and Overmedicated” on November 20th 2026.
Currently looking forward to each song release while playing as an acoustic outfit and trying to grow the Official Hottie fan base.
